I have 6 boneless, thick cut pork chops and I need a great recipe for them. Any ideas? What are some good pork chop recipes?
Here are a couple of ideas. I'mnot going to just post links for you. These are recipe I actually make at home for My family, and on a regular basis as well.
Pork Chop Bake:
6 pork chops (approx 5oz each)
3 Potatoes
3 Carrots
1 onion
2 Cans cream of mushroom soup
1 1/2 Cans of Milk
3 Tbsp Flour
salt and pepper
Brown the chops in a skillet that has been lightly oiled. As the chops are browning slice the carrots potatoes, onions, and carrots. Place the browned chops in a 9x13 baking dish.
Layer on the veggies. In a separate bowl mix the soup and flour until smooth, then add the milk. Pour over the chops and veggies and then cover and bake for 1 hour at 350. Then remove lid and continue to bake for another 15min.

Autmn Chop Skillet:
All you need is 2 chops, 1 red bell pepper-cut into 1 in pieces
1 apple peeled and sliced.
Season the chops with salt and pepper, cook the chops in a tiny bit of oil, brown on one side and turn, add the onions, pepper, and apples. Cook until chops are done and the other ingredients are crisp tender. Serve with rice.

Sweet Chop Bake:
The next recipe is for as many chops as you want to make. Salt and pepper both sides of the chops, place in a baking dish. Top EACH chop with the following
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp ketchup
1 slice onion
1 slice lemon
Bake at 350 for about 30-45 min depending on how many chops, and how thick they are. This dish creates just a tiny bit of a nice sweet tangy sauce. You can simmer an extra serving or 2 the topping ingredients on the stove top with a little water if you would like. I serve this dish over rice also. Different sounding but very good!!!
--------What are some good pork chop recipes?
Honestly there are several ways to cook a good thick chop. I personally like the old tried and true method of pan frying with onions and apples. I also have fried potatoes with it. Just salt and pepper your chops and set aside. In a skillet, put your oil and onions and let them saute I then put my apples in, usually with 6 chops 3 apples. Which are already cut, not peeled. Let that merry for about 5 minutes, then remove them from the pan, then sear your chops for about 4 minutes on 1 side and then 2 minutes on the next. Add about a cup of apple juice and then let it simmer. Usually about an additional 20 minutes with liquid.(I add water as needed). Done in about half and hour to 40 min total. Good luck!
Season the chops how you like ,i use salt, black pepper, seasoned salt and a little garlic powder on both sides.
Fry in a bit of oil or non stick spray in a fry pan over medium heat about 5 minutes on each side.
Meanwhile pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.
When chops are done drain grease on paper towels, then place chops in a 13x9 baking pan.
Pour 2 large cans of cream of celery soup over chops.Bake for 1 hour at 375 degreesin a foil covered pan.
Serve over rice or noodles.
For a complete meal add a vegetable and rolls or bread, very good!
There are two great recipes for pork on this site.. www.bitchcooks.com under the 'free recipes' tab.... they are not for ';chops';, but one is for ribs, one is for a roast, but you can definitley convert them for chops... i would check those out.. they were awesome, and everyone raved about them when i served them at two separate dinner parties...
I marinate them in soy, fresh ginger, garlic, %26amp; rice wine for a couple of hours. I remove the chops from marinade, put the marinade in a pan and reduce it by half add some honey to it, and brush it on the chops while I am grilling them.
That's what I'm having, too!.
I just looked up some on allrecipes.com I am thinking of the apple, cranberry stuffed.
They have reviews by those who have tried the recipes, so you can make variations if you need.
Here are over 3,000 recipes for you:

Try marinating them in soy sauce and chopped scallions (white and green parts included). Let them marinate for at least an hour. You can then grill them or broil them. The flavor is amazing!
