Pork chop (bone in) recipes?

Any good recipes for pork chops? We are tired of bbq chops, and we just had chops in the crock pot with cream of mushroom soup. We just want something different. Thanks!Pork chop (bone in) recipes?
MMM. If you use thick cut chops, this recipe is perfect!

Make a breading line out of 3 bowls. In one bowl, place flour with a dash of salt %26amp; pepper. In the next bowl, scramble some eggs (raw) with a splash of milk. In the 3rd bowl, place a mixture of italian seasoned breadcrumbs and grated romano or parmesan cheese.

Bread your chops 1 at a time by dipping in the flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs.

After all are breaded, heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Brown the porkchops, 3 minutes on the 1st side, then 2 minutes on the other side (only turning once!). Once browned, place the chops into a baking dish sprayed with cooking spray %26amp; cover with foil. Poke a few holes in the foil with the tip of a knife. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

Mexican Adobo

4 bone in pork chops

1/2 cup vinegar

4 guajillo chiles, boiled in water until soft

2 ancho chiles, boiled in water until soft

1/4 tsp ground cloves

1/8 tsp ground cinnamon

1 tsp mexican oregano

1 tsp salt

1/4 tsp ground cumin

Place all ingredients except for pork chops in the blender and blend until it is a smooth paste. Add water to make it a little more liquidy. Marinate the pork chops in this adobo overnight and then grill them for 20 minutes on low.

Delicious with tortillas, rice and beans or just with white rice.
Try this. It even makes its own apple sauce, and the gravy with the onion %26amp; apple juice is fabulous and means that nothing is wasted.

I will doing this myself this Sunday, to support the British pig industry.

PORK IN CIDER

Serves 2

INGREDIENTS

250ml of cider

1 apple

1 onion

2 pork chops or steaks

METHOD

Pour the cider into a measuring jug. Peel and core the apple, cut it into thick slices and put them into the cider to stop them going brown. Peel the onion and chop it into tiny pieces.

Put the onion in the bottom of an ovenproof dish with a lid. Put the meat on top. Add the cider. Arrange the apple slices on top of the pork. Put the lid on the dish.

Cook in a preheated oven at 150°C, 300°F, gas mark 2 for about 2 hours. Check the liquid level from time to time and top it up if it starts to dry out.

ADDITIONS %26amp; ALTERNATIVES

Stir 2 heaped teaspoons of gravy granules into the onion and cider left in the dish to make the most delicious gravy.

TIPS

Any cheap cider (that doesn’t have the word “white” in the name) will do. The long, slow cooking in the alcohol tenderises even the cheapest meat.
This recipe is for 4 port chops. Brown the chops in a little oil. Drain grease if there is a lot. Mix together in a large bowl 1 can of chopped tomatoes (the large can, about 28 ounces or so), 1 chopped onion, 1 chopped green pepper, 1 cup of uncooked rice, 1 cup of water, salt and pepper to taste.

Stir this mixture well, then spoon over the chops. The rice will keep sinking to the bottom but just spoon the rice over the chops too. Cover and cook on low heat for about 45 minutes. If it starts to dry out, add a little water, but just a little to moisten things. This is great served with applesauce.
you can do this with pork, beef or chicken

i like to make a stir fry. i cut the meat into thin strips and the marinate it in a little soy sauce and lemon. even zest the lemon. let that sit for about an hour at least.in the mean time with pork and chicken i use chicken flavor rice a roni. follow the directions. i like to cook the meat then while the rice a roni is cooking. get a skillet really hot and quickly cook the meat even if you have to cook it in batches. for the vegetable i'll use a store bought stir fry mix and maybe add a little fresh broccoli and take out the heavy stems that come in the bag. i also will scramble 2 or 3 eggs. know this is how to do it.

first you to have all ingredients. then slice meat and add marinate

after al least 1 hour start your rice a roni. and get a skillet hot . add just a little oil like 1 table spoon. then cook the meat and set aside.i like to leave the juice in and concentrate it down. then pour it over the meat. wipe out the skillet and add a Tb spoon of oil and stir fry the veggies. scramble s2 to 3 three eggs and cook that. once the rice is done put the meat, eggs and veggies into the rice and mix it all up. i like to add a little soy sauce to mine after i dish it up. i hope you try this its really good.
pork adobo! mmmmm. 1/3 cup vinegar, 2/3 cup soy sauce, 1 cup water, garlic, bay leaves + one lb of pork bone in.
Dip the chops in flour then egg then bread crumbs. Bake in the oven at 400 for 25 minutes.
I prefer turkey cutlets but if you must eat pork season, flour, and fry.
